1-DAY CROSS-CULTURAL TOUR PURPOSE

Many churches, student groups, church staff, families, and individuals are wanting more info on how to engage the international community around them.  Some are praying about how to involve their church, or looking for a place for their church members to be trained & launched to the nations.  Others are wrestling with a full-time call to missions.  Whatever the case, these 1-day cross-cultural tours are designed to give you a feel for global missions…right here in the US.  You will feel like you’ve stepped into another country after this experience.

COST AND TOUR DETAILS

The cost of the cross-cultural tour is $35/person.  Here is what it covers:

  • Tour Limit = 15 people.
  • Your 1-day tour will be led by 1 or more of our team members or church partners who are serving in the refugee community.
  • 9AM – The tour begins with a brief orientation & vision-casting of our ministry.
  • 9:30AM – Then you’ll visit local Buddhist/Hindu temples, Mosques or an Islamic center, and some international markets. (bring spending for snacks & souvenirs in these markets)
  • 11:30AM – We’ll drive into some of the apartment complexes where our teams live & train among the refugee population, so you can get an idea of what life is like for those coming from the least reached areas of our world.
  • 12:30PM – We will debrief over lunch at an international restaurant, and then you are free to go.  Plan on being finished around 2:30-3pm.  (Lunch is included)
  • Part of the fee you pay for the tour supports our local training HUB and the daily ministry taking place here among the refugees, so THANK YOU.
